Death of Hope Bourne

Post: # 207289Post Stonehead »

I was surprised to see no one has mentioned the death of Hope Bourne who, for me at least, typifies real self-sufficiency, independence of spirit and freedom of action. Here's her obituary...

And if you read just one of her books, make it Wild Harvest.

I've never heard of her before! Thanks for posting this, Stonehead - I'll look out for Wild Harvest.

What an incredible woman.

Can't say I've heard of her either, sounds like she had one very interesting but very hard life.

I too will be looking out for her books.
