Where to buy mead in South/Central London?

Post: # 199488Post Sinmara »

I'm used to mead being readily available, unfortunately it's not as popular in England as it is in Austria - and I'm longing for some mead!

Does anybody know where I could buy mead in South London/Central London?

I know I could buy it online, but the postage is just way too high and not worth it.

A quick search online for specialist off licences produces the name Gerry's Wines and Spirits in Soho (it's on Old Compton St) which is about the only central London one I can find.

Thank you - someone on Twitter recommened that to me too a moment ago, it's easy to get there from my workplace so I'll be stocking up on mead there :)

oh yes, once I have a garden I'm definitely going to make my own mead - friends of mine are doing that and it's quite easy!

I get mine from here

you have to buy 6 and the last time I bought at Yule I was charged £7.00 a botle which is the same as at the meadery in Inverness... no postage and they are very fast ... but you have to phone to deal with them ...
