Hello from the South West

Post: # 194817Post worriedmother »

Hello Everyone, from the South West in England.
I am a carer for my 2 grown up disabled chidren and have been interested in all things preparedness for about 5 years now, stocking up the up the cupboards and a number of other interests ranging from Gardening to craftwork.
I prepare for emergencies and also when i just can't get out, i am always scouting for ideas and prepare every day in some small way.
I am a non violent person and therefore not interested in the use of gun's either for self defense or otherwise, i am just interested in preparedness.
I would like to be self sufficent, or as far down that road as i can get, going back to the old ways as much as possible, including the use of things like paraffin heaters and lamps and that sort of thing.
I do a number of craft projects for the house and have a sewing machine and knitting machine, but knit a huge amount of socks.
I look forward to hearing your ideas and sharing mine with you all.

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!
