Our remote ancestors said to their mother Earth, "We are yours."
Modern humanity has said to Nature, "You are mine."
The Green Man has returned as the living face of the whole earth so that through his mouth we may say to the universe, "We are one."

Our house after the repointing was done a coupe of years ago. It really brightened it up. That's my poor Mimosa tree which has been frosted the last two winters so no lovely yellow flowers.

Here is my house from the front - the garden is round to the right.

And this is the field behind our garden which we have just rented, minus our neighbours naughty pony, Binky, who will be relegated to a different field. This is where our veggie patches are going to go.
Some lovely houses on here and the previous thread - I do like having a nose at other people's houses!

Wow, your houses are all so beautiful, when I get rid of the grass out of the gutters and the brambles (
) off the driveway, I'll post a pic of the phoenix rising
I aspire to making my grandad's farm as beautiful as once it was

ooo most definately - i am that nosey person staring in as I walk pastSusieGee wrote:I love seeing where others live too - I think it's a nosy girl thing! I used to love walking home from work at dusk when I lived in town and getting a peep of other folks sitting rooms with the lights on before they drew the curtains

Annpan - that looks like a labour of love - good luck - I'm sure you must've heard the phrase - you can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs - a hundred times - hold on to the vision

Here is our place. The gravel area in the foreground is the driveway. The garden is down the hill to the right. The netting at the left that looks like an aviary is our cat enclosure. The net is to keep the birds (eagles as predators, little birds as prey) out, not in.

Gosh I'm glad we don't have to worry about eagles getting our cats!
Nice seeing everyone's places (yes I'm another nosy one too
) and I love seeing the renovation pics too.

Susie the hills in the background are stunning! Where abouts in wales are you? Are they the Brecon Beacons?
All really lovely houses - or will be one day I'm sure!
