Lynx is great (if you want to smell like a teenage boys' changing room. The whiff of it takes me right back to being at school.)

What puzzles me slightly is how every fragrance in the range smells exactly the same as the others.

OH was given some Lynx for Christmas (from our daughter). I only put deodorant on if I stink  and tend to use whatever's to hand, so I've used Lynx a few times. Thankfully, no women found me irresistable

Has anyone here used Impulse and been given flowers?

One of our older boys insists on using the stuff, he has got 3 girlfriends and two others arguing over him, so I guess it must work for him (he's 8) I do insist that it's not used in enclosed spaces as it stinks!!!

Impulse is also made by Unilever.

As is Dove, the skin moisturisers that say it's sexy to be curvy.

And here's where it gets REALLY apparent just how much of a stranglehold these firms have on our lives..

As is SlimFast, the firm who tell you you can only be sexy if you lose weight.

Hmmmm

one of my brothers smells of lynx, he's just the right age. 14. so sweet. the other has recently discovered "proper" man perfumes (he's 16) and now smells amazing as he has very similar taste in smell to my husband lol!!!

I just watched it, then showed it to my daughter. It's very powerful. Then I watched the Greenpeace version and showed it to my daugher. It's very powerful. :(

How sad that a company that can do something so good can be doing something so bad at the same time.

I can't see it here - my proxy's died!!

Please describe the video.

I quite like the smell of lynx, but only the Africa one. I wouldn't go jumping into the arms of an ugly bloke because he smelt of lynx though...

ok, so what i want to know is...did he wander around flapping his armpits and flicking his hair at girls? THat would pretty much guarantee that none would come near him...

And if he didn't...how did he expect the Lynx effect to work with no exposure?

Or...maybe he was one of those people you can smell 3 miles down the road, and then for 3 miles after they've left because they've bathed in the stuff...pretty much guaranteeing that anyone within 'girlfriend' distance would be gagging and choking...

Our rescued Greyhound bitch LOVES lynx. We just assume that, as she's obviously been beaten more than once, the lynx-wearer must have come to her rescue.

My youngest has a friend (aged 17 at the time) who bathed in gallons (should that be litres?) of the wretched stuff. So C told him of a leggy blonde, with huge brown eyes, that went wild for the smell, and would probably lick more intimate parts of his anatomy if he spayed it there! So he turned up here, dressed in his coolest outfit, absolutly reaking of the stuff. Dana dutifully wagged her tail madly & sniffed his crotch very appriciatively! He saw the funny side but we still rib him about it.
