Thanks for the birthday messages, and sorry for taking so long to reply!
As it happens I was in bed with the lurge that was going round, hence why I didn't check the posts then completly forgot about it until I saw one on for someone else today, and thought I'd better check to see if anyone had sent a measage.
One of the worse birthdays had to cancel all our plans cos of being ill . Then spent all morning in hospital with MOH as she had a lump to check out (All OK but very stressful at the time), then got back home and went back to bed!. Happy 40th!
Made up for it the following weekend though!.
As it happens I was in bed with the lurge that was going round, hence why I didn't check the posts then completly forgot about it until I saw one on for someone else today, and thought I'd better check to see if anyone had sent a measage.

So you know how great Salsify is as a veg, what about Cavero Nero,great leaves all through the winter , then in Spring sprouting broccolli like flowers! Takes up half as much room as broccolli

Awww poor you - hope you are both OK now. A lot of us had the lurgy for Xmas so we know how you must have felt!
