Really good mates

Post: # 123970Post old tree man »

well after being in pain for a week now, they have found out that my right arm is broken as well so i was totally p****d off as doing the most simple of things was a nightmare, i need help to do everything, with my left forearm in plaster and my right shoulder and bicep in plaster you soon find out who your friends are, well they found out how much i was struggling so they came round to cheer me up, they came in a van as cars are difficult to get in at the moment and whisked me away to a bike rally and said we have lined up two blokes for you to meet and that was it so with my jacket hung over my shoulders and my entorage of bikers i was ushered into this tent and low and behold there were the two hairy bikers one of my favourite shows, i was made really welcome and what a couple of nice guys they are so we posed for a couple of pics for the album and had a bit of a chat, all in all a really great day that cheered my up and got me out of the doledrums, what great mates its times like that you really do find out who your friends are.

Almost worth getting your arms broken for!

Well, almost. I do hope you'll heal up soon. Can't imagine what I'd do with both arms out of action...

The thing is I know a lot of bikers and it wouldn't have been an easy ride in the back of a van....

Also old tree man, sorry i thought you were a pedal cyclist not a motor cyclist in one of my previous posts..

What a good lot of friends you have OTM! Really sorry about the arms.

You look like you could be the third hairy biker!

Love their programme... they were up here recently, but I only found out AFTERWARDS :(
