she's being incredibly supportive and is looking into reinvestigating my thyroid problems, and she's also referring me to a psychiatrist becaue although the mood swings are connected in part to the thyroid, the voices and visual disturbances are not connected. Nor is the very veryy high feeling I get.
she was angry that dr M had prescribed Xenical and thanks to Graye for the link. I printed that one off but I found hundreds of other stating that xenical shouldnot be used on thyroid patients. not only does it aparently not work on them, it can inhibit the absorption of thyroxine AND make anxiety and depression worse
he should have read my history too.she's alo appologised for taking so long getting soph's opthamology referral and said it was 'cos she couldn't get soph's full notes, she had no idea why. I said to her "the problem could be that our last doctor was Dr D**". the look on her face said it all.
