Nice enough article, Andy, but on my browser there seems to be a glich in the formatting. The underlines are a full line below the links they pertain to. I took a screenshot:-

A very informative peice Andy and some useful links. The format is ok with my brower, if that's any help!

Tetra paks..a question...do you have to pay the postage on sending them? Not exactly an incentive to recycle them if you do. :(

Surely, there's a lot of energy used to get them all the way to Scotland!

I wonder if they'll go national or intend to?

That's really good, Andy.

As a former recycling officer for the local council, I would say that it is worth hassling the council to recycle plastics (and tetrapak cartons - why not?) if they don't currently. They do often respond to such pressure if they get enough of it. Best to go direct to your local councillor rather than the recycling people though. They have good intentions but no clout! So perhaps that's worth a mention.

Cheers for the point though I shall add it.

Looks cool to me apart from the apostrophes in Dixons and Currys which aren't required - they should be DSG International plc - who own Dixons, Currys, PC World etc.

I think the paragraph reads better like this:

So, although I am in danger of repeating myself, try your local council first. Otherwise DSG International has recycling facilities in many of their stores, which include Dixons, Currys and PC World.

Sorry to be picky Andy, I just feel that getting a company's name correct is important. Hope you don't mind. Noone, afterall, likes a smartar*e!!!

Gosh, is Scotland really ahead of England in the recycling stakes? All the recycling centres around here take plastic bottles and tetra pak... The only thing we still can't get rid of is plastic tubs (yoghurt, marge, fruit etc.). But I re-use a lot of them (freezing, containers for making yoghurt, planters).

It seems like a glitch with Firefox - I get the same problem. Did you generate the code from MS Word? The underlying HTML is grossly twisted and bloated with unnecessary markup and "mso" codes. For the sake of making an accessible page that is browseable on the widest range of clients, it would be worth tidying it a bit - do you want me to rework the first paragraph so you can drop it in and see if it makes any difference?

Kind of did it with a mixture of word and so lite editor. I use firefox to and can see the problem on mine.

Yep you could drop me an email with coding so I can look and see the differences and work on it, that would be very helpful. - email address is andy @ selfsufficientish.com

Cheers mate.
