What a great day!

Post: # 117347Post Mr and Mrs luvpie »

What a brilliant day i'm having:-

Baby George slept till 8 o'clock, or should I say I slept till 8o'clock and george kept the noise down.

Our tickets for Beautiful days arrived, without the boys seeing them so it is still a surprise for them.

I found some money in my purse that I wasn't expecting so we now have some very nice meat for tea, instead of veg stew.

The library has been selling jute bags £3.00 but today had an offer on that if you bought a bag you could fill it with books on sale for free, therefore instead of taking the boys to town to go to the library every week this holiday, which would have cost £3 each week, we now have a bag of books to pick from, all books that the boys wanted (if we had just bought the books it would have cost us £12).

The rain stopped before the nappies were washed and didn't start again till after they were dry.

Someone who lives 3 doors up from me and is being shipped back to the states next week just got his two lads to bring me a double shed that they needed to get rid off, all fine needs a new cover on the roof but have got some of that in my stuff that you never know might come in handy one day pile, and comes with a light inside, he even gave me the padlock.

Somedays it all just comes together doesn't it, I'm enjoying this summer holiday so far. :flower:
the ever growing luvpie household currently contains, 4 boys, 4 chickens, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, 4 fish, an empty tropical fish tank waiting new arrivals, now are we daft to look at our broody hen thinking, if we got some fertilised eggs........

Thank you for sharing your smiles! In fact I have an idea for another thread - I must admit not my own idea but I think one worth sharing..........
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

we should all have days like that, then we wouldn't really mind too much!!
it's either one or the other, or neither of the two.
