I have made buckets of the elderflower cordial from the recipe here this year - although we were at least a month behind in flowering terms, and it is delish!

We are also having a bumper crop of strawberries so here is my summer drink of choice at the moment

Whizz up a handful of strawberries with a stick blender, add a big glug of elderflower cordial and pour into a jug, add lemonade to half fill then top with any old crappy white wine and a final shot of vodka, crush some ice cubes, and a couple of frozen lemon slices, chuck those in too, then sit back in your chair outside in the evening sun and have a couple of lovely drinks that just smell of summer days, and taste fab! :drunken:
