Anyway, if it wasn't for natterboxes like us, the forums would be fairly quiet.... so I say Carry on Yakking!

I have been really good this morning - was going to get outside & clear trees, but it was snowing quite hard early on, so I've sorted thru EVERY piece of paperwork there is & finally got it all filed away in the filing cabinet - am now feeling quite pleased with myself, so am having a rest & a coffee

I was laughing at one of John Headstrong's posts - and his post count too - now THAT is something to aspire to

Wet and windy again today, BUT just took a peek at next weeks weather forecast and it looks like it's going to dry up a bit, no rain and wind in the east
Hopefully I'll be able to get some of those jobs outside that have been on hold since before Christmas.
Glad I no longer live in Kent though as all of eastern UK is on an advanced weather warning for heavy snowfall. :sad7:

Looks like today & tomorrow are going to be indoor days for sure, Tony - but then as you say, it should be a lot brighter... which is just as well because I have Andy home now until Tuesday.... and I have a list of jobs for him too!

Have a good day - it'll soon be spring... oh, I can't wait!

the wind whistled round our house early this morning waking me up ,we have a gate to the side of the house and the kids leave it open so when its windy it suddenly slams open and shut ,now i have gone outside in the dark with my torch dressed in wellies and dressing gown, hair standing up in the wind but as i frightened the neighbours dogs so much they barked and howled, and frightened me too,but that will not be ever repeated,so i just lay in bed listening to the gate :shaking: its not too bad now,i went to town and forgot my coat, but it looks stormy overhead at this minute, and so my river will be back outside my door later on i expect,
