Hi Guys

I'm completely overwhelmed by your messages!! Completely!!

Thankfully, whatever it is/was is not as serious as the docs thought, so i'm recoverng nicely.

It really was the oddest thing - one day i had an itchy thumb, the next day my hand was itchy, and within 4 days it looked like i'd sat in boiling oil! I ha redness all over!

Tuesday i saw the GP again. and he sent me to hospital, where they wanted to keep me in, but thankfully, i saw a sensible consultant who decided that it wasn't worth me having an uncomfortable night in hospital.

They've done lots of tests but not found much! All they can say for definite is that i picked up a virus, but they're not sure whether the rash and energy loss was a symptom, or a reaction.

It wasn't very nice though!!

I had CFS when i was younger, and i have to admit that last night i was worried it had come back, but i'm feeling much better now. Not 100% yet - everything's taking me too long to do, and the rash has settled on the soles of my feet which itch and then hurt when i walk on them!

Thankyou so much for all the kind words, i really can't express what it means to have people saying such nice things. Nik was sending Mum MSN messages with each one on them. and Mum was reading them to me (i couldn't even read the paper - turning the page over was too much effort!!).

Martin: Dates please!! Can't find anything on the website. Please let it be for the week that i've booked off work...
