Would love to get to a Scottish meet - perhaps we need a couple. North-ish and South-ish. Edinburgh is over 100 miles from here and we'd need to overnight somewhere to make it more enjoyable. Hoping that we'll have a Neeps camp this year too - will announce it here if we do so that any Ishers in the area can come along too.

On reviewing finances - a Scottish meet would be a lot more feasible - hadn't noticed the cost of the other festivals! :( Botanic Gardens?

And I took the one less travelled by
And that has made all the difference.

Botanic Gardens in Glasgow might be a better idea - I had thought that Edinburgh was more accessible but I am not so sure - I am from Glasgow (specifically from a street 1 block away from the botanics) so I can give people directions... and if it pisses it down we can all have our picnic in the kibble palace.

YUP!... ar you talking about visiting the Edinburgh Botanics or Glasgow (I was talking of Glasgow) TBH we are about equidistant from Glasgow and Edinburgh and could do with a trip to either..... do you want to set a date and a place  I think we might be too busy on the 14th but another day should be great

We would have loved to meet up in Edinburgh then - but we are going to be in Bristol! We will be meeting up with Andy tho. Perhaps if there are any other ishers around you could let us know!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!
