I am totally solar powered.
I've just been for a 20min walk up to the doctors to get soph's prescription, then got the bus into town from there using my staff weekly bus ticket (it's too far to walk once you've gone all the way up there; it's a long way back)...
I wasn't going to go in the charity shops, but I couldn't resist. something was drawing me in. First ot was 2 unused needlework magazines with their iron on transfers intact for 20p each, then I found sophie a £5 dolls house in terrible shape, but I'm planning to be a toy-property developer and have fun doing this thing up for her!! she keeps looking at it and stroking it and saying "sophie's house. sophie's pretty house" so I know that the fiver and the effort getting the thing home on the back of the buggy were not wasted.
I'm home now, jeans off, pretty dress on and I'm in a smug summer mood.
ahhhh sunshine

Tuesday was a greatly productive sunny day for me also! Spent the whole day sat in the garden planting stuff in containers and commandeering the black and decker workmate to cover in plant pots. Then spent a couple of hours scraping last years Glastonbury mud off my boots (yes, I left it that long!) to prepare them for a coat of dye. Then a snooze in a chair, a read of a book and an egg, cheese and spring onion sandwich. Yum.
