Happy Birthday Jandra!

I'd try to sing it to you in Dutch because I remember the tune very well, but the words....... er, um.....

Lang zal ze leven
Lang zal ze leven
in de Gloria

(I cannot remember how to spell any of it!!! )

I hope that load of rubbish cheered you up! :flower:

Happy Birthday Jandra!

My son-in-law isn't up yet so I can' do any Dutch. Don't know much myself, not even any rude words (hard as that may be to believe). Mind you Dutch has some wonderful words that sound dirty but aren't, case in point - gesloten (say it loudly a few times!)

Hmm, got carried away again - have a great day mate!

Thank you all! You were the only one to sing to me MMM. Although in real life being sung to always makes me feel uncomfortable, I find it does cheer me up online :-) Thanks.

I had a day off and spent it exactly as I wanted. OH had to work, so in the morning I collected my present from OH, the -ish Bible, at the delivery service's office. Then I got some reading in it, really nice. Next I helped some tomato plants move house to bigger pots and after lunch I got time on the allotment until 5 pm. Got my early spuds in, broad bean plants and mangetout peas (I grow them to 3" in pots first as I have flea beetles), did some weeding, sowed beetroot, killed 12 slugs and 40 dandelions.
Will meet up with the family later this month and have announced I'd like a pressure cooker for canning as a collective present from them.

In short, I had a perfect birthday!
