My last 'baby' (I still think of him as a baby  ) just started his first day at BIG school. He was so excited, love him. It's going to be so weird! I've had one child at home at least for 12 years now. How strange it feels to know I've got no kids until 3.30! Well, no excuse now, I have sewing, cleaning, gardening, laundry, cooking to sort out

Awww a big boy now then.... my son (my last baby too) will start school in August and he can't wait. I wonder how long this excitement will last

Enjoy your day - I bet you'll get heaps done.

About a day. My Goddaughter sorted it out after all of the first day excitement. When my friend (single father looking forward to a day of relative peace) pointed out to his daughter that it was time to go to school, she looked shocked (SOOOO shocked) and reminded him that she's already done it - she'd been to school the day before, so that was an end of it.

Think of that - nobody told her to read the small print!
