Is the world going mad?
Couldn't get citric acid in the health food shop yesterday. Couldn't get it in Boots. The reason? "Drug addicts use it". Went to Wilkinsons to discover that maybe the drug addicts don't know about them, because citric acid was present by the ton.
Now it strikes me that drug addicts eat, drink and breathe. I wonder what the reaction of the retail community is going to be when they realise that.

Wait until they ban the sale of belts, tin foil and teaspoons because druggies use them, too...Gytrash wrote:Will addicts just start buying lemons if they can't get hold of citric aceeeed?![]()

the day we moved in I saw a bunch of teenage lads in the corridor between our houses holding a teaspoon over a lighter. I was worried.
a couple of weeks ago I found out why when Jim was fitting a sub in the volvo; they wern't about to shoot up heroin, none of them own or could afford a soldering iron. they were heating solder to attatch wires to an amplifier for a friend's car. they heated the solder, dipped the ends of the wire in and quickly held tem together in the hope they'd stay joined

oh how I love my tea, tea in the afternoon. I can't do without it, and I think I'll have another cup very
