ok thisis getting REALLY weird now

Post: # 83647Post mrsflibble »

for the last week or so we have had a black and yellow hellicopter hovering over our house and local area on a pretty much daily basis. the night before last at about 11pm he came over so low it was deafening and we worried that he might hit the chimney lol!
it's getting desturbing now as whenever i g out to photograph it, it flies away.... am I paranoid?! they only ever hover over OUR house. the others they just casually fly over but they stay to hover on OURS.
help!

Very mysterious.

Are there any airfields near you where you can ask if they know who it is?

Also, I don't quite know how to ask, but, are you up to anything untoward?

It could be your neighbour not you they're watching.

About two months ago I was walking home and I heard sirens in the background, I looked round and saw two police cars zooming down the road. They slowed, then slowed more as they passed me and then all started pointing at me. There were four big police men in each car! They screetched to a halt in the road just a little way ahead of me and blocked the road. Then they all jumped out, continued pointing at me and started to run towards me. At this point I became concerned, well rather worried actually and my thoughts turned to self defense. I reached for the only weapon (I know not very in tune with the Quaker peace testimony) I had available, it was a new copy of one of the Puritan Paperbacks range I'd just bought. So I clutched my copy of A Jerusalem Sinner Saved, ready to batter all eight of them as they thundered towards me, then past me, then up to the door behind me which they promptly smashed down.

Me and my book quickened our pace and carried on home.

Could be a police chopper and they can see lots from one spot in the sky, Heard a story of them being used to spot cannabis factorys using their infra red camera but they can scan a huge area from a few hundred feet so probably not you they are interested in.

Are there power lines near you - they use them to check them too

Yip, I think it is a copper chopper... They are black and yellow in Scotland... so they must be the same down south.

Rescue helicopters are either bright orange or bright yellow - flourescent like - and longer - for stretchers. Private helicopters tend to be plain coloured - red or black usually, though I don't know if that is just co-incidence that they are the ones I have seen.

Sounds like a cannabis factory might be the reason, they have heat seeking cameras (not sure if they are infra red) and they could maybe see from the camera if someones house is a hot-house. But they usually get that info from the electricity suppliers (I know a man who tracks 'em down) They might be looking for secondary evidence but I wouldn't have thought it would take them several days :?

Maybe they are on to you and your Aloe factory MrsF

I agree - it looks just like the police helicopters we have in my area - might be worth asking at the police but I doubt they will tell you anything
