Hi Gunners,
I placed an order with Nicky's Seeds a few weeks back and was more than happy with the service and the varieties they offer. We'll have to wait until spring to make sure the seeds are up to scratch :o)
They offer a catalogue on CD, but it's exactly the same as the website and therefore not (IMHO) worth having if you have broadband web access.

hi fluffy muppet i have found that seed is seed in most ways ! i have bought seed from more well known company's and my dad has and found not always up to scratch i think you just do a good liberally sowing,i think these Internet companies working on the web save money keep overheads down also Nicky's and alanromans.com have both been going about a year or more so i think we are safe ,all the best flufff

Following Gunner's recommendation,I placed an order with Nicky's seeds on saturday 12th,and the seeds arrived yesterday!
My order consists of the tomato varieties 'Ildi' (looks like the variety 'Lidl' that I grew this year-is it a spelling mistake,an anagram,or a different variety?
),Golden Gem(lovely looking orange fruit) and organic 'Carentan' Leeks(which are actually supplied by 'Suffolk Herbs'.
As a bonus,I also received a packet of 'Autumn King' Carrots for free!
