Another newbie saying Hi.

We love hearing from you, so here is your chance. Introduce yourself and tell us what makes you selfsufficient 'ish'. Go on don't be shy, we welcome one and all. You can also tell us how you heard about us if you like.

Another newbie saying Hi.

Post: # 67438Post Hippyhedgewitch »

Hi there. Just thought I'd drop by and give a brief intro. I'm 35 and live in the North East of Scotland with my partner and two kids. We are both passionate about being as self sufficient as possible. I am a member of Friends of the Earth, Greenpeace and a local climate change campaign group, and campaign actively on many issues. I love knitting, sewing, making my own clothes, music and spending time with my family.
Well, I've probably bored you all enough now, so I'm off for a nosy round the forums. :cooldude:
Look forward to getting to know you guys. :dave:
Who was the first person to look at a cow and say, "I think I'll squeeze these dangly things here and drink what comes out"?
Who was the first person to say, "See that chicken over there ... I'm gonna eat the first thing that comes out if its butt"?

It does indeed Milllymollymandy. Although the deifinitions of what it means will probably be different from each of us. To me, a hedgewitch is a witch that works as a solitary, walking a traditional path. She or he works closely with herbs and has shamanic leanings too. It's not just about spells and such, it is about having magic in every aspect of your life. It's quite an ecletic path and hedgewitches do not have a set "Rede" as Wiccans do. They have their own inner code and set of lines they will not cross. Just my take on it anyways. :flower: Merry meet and bright blessings guys!
Yes, you have indeed Ina. Was it the avatar that gave it away?
