Not only slow (sometimes I get a 'This Document Contains No Data' error - anyone else get that?), but for the past few days it's been marking my unread posts as read, which makes it hard to keep up.

4th time I've tried after being timed out several times and losing the latest posts things. So if I don't post much this is why. (All of a sudden I got into the site quickly!)

I have tried posting several times in the past few days, and always get timed out - wonder if this one will go through?!?

I guess that's also why there have been fewer postings lately, or maybe mine are being marked as read too, I didn't think of that. Some days it's so slow I just give up

So far so good this morning. Is it worth sending a message to Andy, Nev?

Edit - working brilliantly now - as you can see from the posts I've made!!!

G'DAy M3

The feeling that I got from Andy was that it is the limitations of the current band width etc, that the site is set up on so we are kinda stuck with it until he can organise a new provider. I don't think he is back on the net personally yet so we may have a bit to wait!

Yes, but it seems to go in fits and starts! Been OK for me for several days now. It does seem to co-incide with periods when there are hardly any posts though.

Is it just me or is it a general go-slow again? Can't seem to get into some topics at all... Well, I do tend to give up after 10 minutes of waiting or so.

For the umpteenth time I am attempting to post on this site to say that I can hardly ever get on the forum anymore and when I do it is so slow I can hardly open a post, let alone post. I get timed out all the time. It is so frustrating as I see you all posting but something is horribly wrong somewhere!

OK let's try for the 3rd time today........

It was really bad last night, I was doing some behind the scenes stuff and needed a constant connection, very fustrating.

We seem to be sharing a server with a site full of downloads so it is going to slow us down from time to time. In the next month or two I am going to move the whole site to a dedicated server, so things should certainly improve. For now all I can say is sorry and keep trying. :andy:
