Allotments in Nottingham

Post: # 5140Post Chickenlady »

I apologise if this has been posted elsewhere, but what do you think of the allotment holders in Nottingham who have been offered £28,000 per plot by a developer?

Wouldn't it be amazing if they held out and didn't go for the money! It would be hard to refuse, wouldn't it?

re nottingham allotments 28k offer

Post: # 5143Post gunners71uk »

:andy: i think its very interesting, some may want to sell others probably not but they should hold a meeting and make a democractic vote, 28k or more if you hold out is a lot of money , maybe they could wait to the end of season get a council plot or allotment association plot, and pay someone to clear it for them, and have it in tip top condition and still have 27k in the bank its very tempting i would probably acept the offer and do the above and get a caravan and a big steak. :bom:
