Chris bought me Geisha last week - I loved it - didn't see the end coming at all and cried buckets!!
I also love Neverland - cried buckets then too (Chris is now used to handing out the loo roll when we watch films!! lol)
I also love Romeo and Juliette - the Leo and thingy one - yeah I know its a bit naff but I think its really clever the way such and old thing has been adapted to something so modern and yet hasn't changet at all!!
My ultimate fave is Now Voyager - an ancient Bette Davis film with a classic ending line - "Why wish for the moon when we have the stars" Oooohhh - pass the loo roll Chirs........
Oh and I also thing American Histroy X is a really good film - despite the violence - we all have a lot to learn!

Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Ooooh, how to choose just 5 films. OK, this is my list for right now - could change next week though!
Roman Holiday - Audrey Hepburn rules
The Big Blue - Luc Besson at his surreal best
The Usual Suspects - Love, love, love the final twist
The Fifth Element - More Besson, this time with comedy & Gary Oldman!
Star Wars - Any of the original 3
Of course I almost never get time to watch any films anymore. Boo.

Well having just watched this on TV this evening, I unreservedly withdraw, and apologise for suggesting it. It is an unrelenting pile of crap.Muddypause wrote:Quite possiblyToo Late The Hero
Funny how the memory plays tricks like this; I distinctly remember thinking, when I first saw it, how gripping it was.

I made the same mistake with a film recently, it came onto BBC3 I think and as a bit of a sci-fi fan I thought I would give it a go. AI artifical intelligence was the name and it was one of the worst films I have ever seen.
