A new newbie
Hello all. Just joined today, as I got reading through some threads earlier, and found myself being drawn in!
I'm living in Ireland (Republic) in the Midlands. Have 2 girls, and have The Good Life on DVD. I'm into Ecological and Economical living, and am Anti lots of things (plastic, pollution, non renewable energy, consumerism, capitalism etc etc).
I don't drive, but I do bake.

Re: A new newbie
do you have a section where all the different symbols are explained? like why some usernames are highlighted (i think i've concluded they are mods), little red square on a section box, green highlighting on a section square...? maybe i'm getting too distracted!

I know nothing about fermentation, but I did once grow some new potatoes in a tyre stack. Got over a kilo of potatoes back, so a good result. So easy to do.Green Aura wrote: ↑Thu Apr 12, 2018 8:12 am Welcome.

Most of the symbols will tell you what they are if you hover your mouse over them.AmalWarrior wrote: ↑Thu Apr 12, 2018 10:32 am do you have a section where all the different symbols are explained? like why some usernames are highlighted (i think i've concluded they are mods), little red square on a section box, green highlighting on a section square...? maybe i'm getting too distracted!
The green (or red) line down the right hand side means that member is online, green if they are, red if they're not.
The little red square means an unread post since you last logged on.
Whatever, don't be afraid to ask, we were all newbies once.
