Hi Milly Molly,
Yeah back in the country and it will be a year on the 24th......... ALREADY!!!!
I am still not getting use to my mad country. So much paper work we filled up......... I think I will write a book about French services, and it may be a big book, because I already had way too many bad experiences. But other than that it is so nice to see the deer in the morning and all the birds and have my own big garden....
I hope you are well?

20 years? You are indeed well established then! I have a couple of jobs this year around Agen, never been before so looking forward to it. We are in our 7th year now and are well settled in and integrated into la belle vie.

Hi Caroline - all well here and trying to get the garden ready in between the rain!
So funny you are complaining about the red tape - mind you, so do all the French people I know. But we just get used to it after a while - it is no good trying to battle the system.

Hi again David - well it's sort of springtime in Brittany, although we had snow last week!

Hum, not sure I can get used to the mad red tape... I think they are even worse with ex - expats... Anyway, we are enjoying our b it of countryside away from everybody and everything. Lots of animals, lots of trees... it is just great for that matter and we could not have done our move anywhere else without a pocket full of cash... I am looking forward to some serious gardening this year. last year everything got done late, but this year I do intend to be on top of things and try many new things too.

Sorry David to take over your thread!

Hello David and family. I'm in France too, Basse Normandie. Just as I thought Spring had finally made it, I've woken up to snow again and its still snowing now. Guess the hedge cutting will have to wait again!

Well it seams we have another 2 weeks of this disgusting cold weather... It will then be mid-April and I am not sure trees will have any leaves yet by then! What a mad start of the year. And it is no better in Britain...... :(

Bonjour, we're "Limousonians" too. We're up on the Millvache Plateau en Correze. Where abouts are you?
