Argue with this.

You all seem to be such proficient chefs. Well here is a place to share some of that cooking knowledge. Or do you have a cooking problem? Ask away. Jams and chutneys go here too.

MSM, if any one of us claimed never to offend anyone, he/she/it would be fibbing. We all have our grumpy days (at least, I do).

The nice thing about Ish is that it blows over almost as soon as it begins. That's much better than a false "walking on glass" attitude.

Anyway, Boboff's our expert on this. (See, now he'll be offended  ).

And something that makes it - in my experience - pretty much unique. How this is managed when other forums descend into Lord-of-the-Flies style rage, blood letting & anarchy, I cannot say. Perhaps it is something in the water.

Nothing. Provided people are polite and respectful. Which I think we are. But for more than a few, internet anarchy is misinterpreted to mean being allowed to kick lumps out of other people for very little reason and without fear of sanction. They should, perhaps, get a better dictionary.

Me offended?

Never.......

Anyway, I was following a Bin Lorry and a Recycling Lorry in convoy down the Road this morning, and could not get past, I was delayed 10 minutes, and the drivers had at least 3 opportunities when letting cars coming the other way, to let the 3 of us cars behind get past, but decided they would not.

I got out of my car and explained that the driver could of let us past, and he replied he had a job to do. I replied so did the people waiting.

When I eventually got past I stopped the car in the lane and got out and told them I lived near by and I would be back in Ten Minutes, I had a job to do, and I hope they wouldn't mind waiting! And left the car.......

I got about 50 yards away and thought better of it, and went back and sat in the car for a couple of minutes and then drove home.

I was a little but annoyed and took possitive action, they might be more considerate in future. But I know if my wife would have been with me she would have cringed and said it was a real "boboff" thing to do... She actually calls me Rob, which is my name, or Tony, when we are pretending to have an affair, but that's irrelevant right now, you see I don't see it as taking offence or causing offence, I just see some things as right, and will generally try and defend my view, although in some instances I may be wrong, but they are so infrequent it's really not worth mentioning!

Although in fairness Durgan is excempt from this as in my head it's like picking on someone at school, or being Nasty to Rainman.

No I won't use a smiley because I've decided to turn into Boboff, as he's turned all nice all of a sudden. Grumble grumble.
