You all seem to be such proficient chefs. Well here is a place to share some of that cooking knowledge. Or do you have a cooking problem? Ask away. Jams and chutneys go here too.

Father's Day Supper

Post: # 262726Post Mustardseedmama »

This evening we cooked several of my Sweeties favorite things;

Steak and Shrimp on the grill
Fresh green beans with garlic
Mashed Potatoes

and for dessert, his top choice....Cherry Pie with vanilla ice cream!

YUM!

Yes it's a treat alright---we have steak and shrimp once in a very blue moon! It completely blows my grocery budget,...but he's worth it!

I was taken, and I took my Dad & Father in law to an all you can eat Chinese, it was absolutley Lush, I managed 6 plates of all different dishes, my favorite has to be the crispy duck pancakes!

No I won't use a smiley because I've decided to turn into Boboff, as he's turned all nice all of a sudden. Grumble grumble.

You really enjoyed your dinner! It sounds wonderful--I love (really good) Chinese food. It's unobtainable here in the sticks. The closest decent Chinese restaurant is an hour and a half away.

I'm glad you had such a lovely time.
