Red Baron Onions

I have just bought some Red Baron Onions but am unsure when to plant them.
Would be grateful if someone could tell me!!

Red onions generally don't like getting frosted. I wouldn't plant them until about April or even May up here, but you can probably get away with earlier.

2nd week of March is my usual date in London

If you have a suitable spot (greenhouse, windowsill, etc) you can get a head start by starting them off in module trays...

Thanks for the info, Think I will go for the middle of March and should be ok down here in Dorset.

i plant mine in the middle of march and always get a good crop
