Red Baron Onions

I have just bought some Red Baron Onions but am unsure when to plant them.
Would be grateful if someone could tell me!!

Red onions generally don't like getting frosted. I wouldn't plant them until about April or even May up here, but you can probably get away with earlier.

If you have a suitable spot (greenhouse, windowsill, etc) you can get a head start by starting them off in module trays...

i plant mine in the middle of march and always get a good crop
