Thames Water Customers

Post: # 252971Post thesunflowergal »

Is anyone else a Thames Water Customer? If so they are giving away free water saving devices for the home. They are away save-a-flush and Hippo bags to go in the toilet cistern. Showerheads and wash basin tap inserts, that are said to cut the amount of water you use by half. Also shower timers lol.
A man came out to us today and fitted 2x showerheads, 7 x tap inserts (the kitchen one is really cool) and a shower timer for free. Fablous, can't say better than that

I am as well (well I would be living just down the road) and I saw the advert. What do the tap inserts do? Can they be fitted to any tap? My laundry and kitchen taps are mixers.

Now if they were giving away free water-butts that would be worth having.

I know, I want a water butt. I did ask if they had any offers on water butts but he didn't know.

The attachment for the kitchen style mixer taps screws into the end of the tap, you can adjust how you want the water to to come out (like a shower or like a normal tap). It allows you to angle the water flow around the sink. Your more than welcome to pop over for a cuppa Zoe, and have a look at ours. The bathroom taps have little filters inserted inside them. Worth a go for free!!
