Fiber: Covering of wood chips. Sod put through chipper/shredder and worked in (no pictures for the chipper operation). The chipper/shredder effectively kills completely all grass roots.

Wow you have a fantastic garden!Also looks like you have a good variety of veg growing in there!So what are you growing next year?

Growing almost all the typical garden vegetables, plus I like to add some new plant(s)each year as opportunity presents, also try to improve various cultivars using last year's effort as a guide. Sort of improvong by trial and error.
Actually in 2012 new plants will be blueberries and saffron. They are in the ground now.
