Proud of minime

Post: # 241386Post mrsflibble »

we went on a local PEACEFUL (and police protected; there are a lot of numpties in basildon who would be looking for an exuse to riot) rally today over the closure and sale of a lot of parkland in Basildon to pay for a sports centre the residents neither asked for nor wanted.

My little girl was amazing. she did half of the walk (whole thing was about 5 miles round trip so we joined halfway through town) shouted for all her worth, politely asked to use a megaphone and began a round of chanting "save our parks!" and pushed a dolly's pram with a "Save Gloucester Park" poster on the front.
she listeneed intently to the speeches and made me the most proud hippymama EVER.

As we were leaving she went up to some of the police who had been looking after us, held out her hand for handshakes and thanked them for their help! :grouphug:
