Hello from Cirencester
I am a single mum and childminder and would love an allotment, but till then my garden is full of pots with veg in. My runners are the talk in the neighbourhood. My secert is home made nettle feed. The children are all involved with planting, watering and weeding. The minded ones will all get to take the harvest home. I don't care weather they eat them or not as long as they know where they come from.

Hi Cir3ngirl, that's lovely that you are doing your bit for educating the youngsters, good for you. So, do you just steep nettles in water for a couple of weeks and then pour the liquid onto the soil? I did this last year and what a stink from the bucket, my goodness! I was amazed, but I am interested if it aids cropping.
