One of the two bushes in the garden is producing a few goji berries. The berries are sweet and pleasant tasting, but few in number. This is the fourth year for this plant, which was grown from seed. The fruit is supposed to cure all human ailments.

Re: Goji Berry or Wolfberry (Lycium barbarum)
Wow!! Looking good!! I planted one this year, and it dropped many of its leaves in the few weeks following the planting. It is still alive, but it didn't flower this season. I imagine it is developing its roots this year, to perhaps flower and fruit in a subsequent growing season. I might never find out if it does though, as the plot on which I planted it is only mine until October, when I move away.
Still, the next steward of the plot will have the option of keeping it...
