Yesterday I was watching the news and was shocked by the drought in East Africa, I have since looked this up on Save the Children as they ahve launched an appeal and also have a blog

I really want to donate but we've really struggling at the moment and I really want to give something more substantial then a tenner so I started thinking about things that I could to do to raise a more substantial amount on top of my own donation. I've been making toy animals out of reclaimed and scrap fabric recently and thought that I could make up a batch and try to sell them to colleagues at work and friends and family
Has anyone on here done something similar, have other ideas or be interested in joining me
