Don't get me started on pigeons :angryfire:

Our garden backs onto arable land, not sure what the farmer has planted but there are thousands of pigeons out there. Whats more he's got a bird scarer that goes off every 15 mins or so, every time it blasts off all the dogs go crazy the pigeons fly up then straight down so whats the point :angryfire:

And as for all the badgers that are coming in digging holes everywhere and leaving their deposits behind :banghead: Rant over for the day.

Mine doesn't have any sprouts forming yet but it has survived the winter and that's the most important thing! I am happy to be patient.

Yippeee.....
I noticed yesterday, mine was starting to come good!

Checked them all now, and all doing well! I think.....

The thing is i´ve never grown it before , ( or much else for that matter!), and not even seen PSB growing eiher at this stage.

Soooooooooo HOW big do they grow?, as big as normal broccoli? how long does it keep once picked? Does it freeze well?
any ways to preserve it ? ..............

Love the leves , raw and cooked.... but any recipes for the actual thing?

Mine too but this year's are quite a bit smaller. However I've got 4 of them so there should be far more than we can eat!

I have no idea if they freeze as I've only ever had them once (last year's were killed by the cold) and then we went away in mid April and they were over when we came back. We ate sprouting curly kale last year instead which is very nice too but just not the same taste! Can't wait! :flower:
