Sorry i can be a bit slow. to the left of each thread there are either blue or orange twirly bullets. Blue means no new posts, orange means new posts. But what does orange twirly spinning mean? and what does the red dot mean?

Swirly means it's a popular thread, ie lots of 'reads' or bits added & red dot means you've added a post to that thread.
