Hey all,

I've been attempting some Parnsip wine and Mead lately. Be great to share my version of these more unusual recipes and get some ideas from your own versions.

Hi Casper - and welcome to the site. From the looks of your blog, you seem already to have the right attitude to homebrew (which is a verbose way of saying "Here we go - another plonky for the gang" ).

There's tons of stuff for you to look at in this section. Have look for alcoholic water, MMM's accidental rhubarb wine (delicious - I tried her method and it worked!!!), there's a good heated discussion on traditional marrow rum - oh, all kinds of stuff. And you really shouldn't write things off - parsnip and mead may just be very nice together (or :pukeright: not).

The tea brew sounds very interesting, will certainly give that a try. There's also a glut of marrows and pumpkins lurking in my shed which could do with converting into beverages.

Here's to adding more hairs to my chest as my father would say!
