Thank you Muddy at least someone wants me to find them! :hugish: And we have no plans as of yet so plenty of time for you to find the hovel, do it up then we'll come and visit! Funny isn't it, I mentioned an interest in going to Ireland on a Brittany forum and was told by someone who lives in N. Ireland not to bother as it is an overpriced place full of American tourists and that Brittany is much nicer/prettier. But I live here so it's not that exciting for me and I want to see other places/countries! :(

It all depends where you go in Ireland MMM, they are a rarity here in the south west. The Americans mainly fly into Shannon airport (mid west) and never venture further south than the Ring of Kerry.
Here it is full of French, German, Dutch and Swiss from March to November.

You are of course very welcome to my humble abode if you do come to Ireland, I'm about 50 miles west of Ringaskiddy (Cork ferry port)

Cheers Tony but don't worry any of you it won't be this year. It's just a thought for the future and I would have to do a lot of research into where I'd like to visit (given that I know Ireland like I know, er, Iceland? ) But I had to do tons of research for our last hols to the Pyrenees/Basque region/Catalonia etc as I didn't know Spain from adam either and didn't know any of the regions in Spain. Researching is part of the fun and as OH has only ever been to Dublin for a conference and I've never been, it's on the 'would like to visit' list for one of these years.

Basically I'm only interested in seeing places that we can take the car to these days - not interested in any long haul flying type of hols :shaking: although I really wish New Zealand was a part of Europe  cos I'd love to go back there. :(

Well, I've met all the people who've mentioned me (obviously) and some others too, including, but not limited to Hamster, Fee and Supernikki, Gert and Mrs G, Snapdragon. Oh and Nommo - but not through this site, we're both members of another site and met up through that.

Ooops, phone's just rung. Better get back to work.

They've had a China arm for a while - www.joyo.com

I wish they'd translate it! Then i could buy it and then hopefully use the other one to translate and learn some more Chinese...oh...and i'd like to know what they translate the fee fairy as...

If they do translate it, tell them my Chinese name is Chahu (Teapot)!
