I wish I'd known about the shopping trolley - I wouldn't have suggested what I did.

No, there's no amount of reasonable discussion going to get past that. Take everyone else's advice and get the authorities involved.

Arghhhh - stuffing forum. I typed up a long reply and the website chucked me out just as I pressed post.

Anyway, what I said was something along the lines of:

Sorry to hear you're still having problems with this idiot. :hugish:

Is this the house that's rented out? If so do you know who the landlord or letting agent is? You should alert them. They may be able to evict him for the drug taking or if he's damaged the house.

Good luck

Zoe

That looks like a really useful link! Wish all councils were as speciific in their help!
Nikki, M&S (and most supermarkets) will usually collect their trolleys if advised where they have been left..a word in the local store might at least deal with that issue without you being seen to be involved! Good luck :hugish:

Best wishes I hope you can sort this quickly. Jerry.
I'm afraid I hav to totally agree with Jerry here. Unfortunately authorities now just don't have the time to sort stuff like this out and more often than not can actually aggravate the situation further. In many cases a quiet word from someone in the neighbourhood can work a treat. However I must stress that I am very concerned for the welfare of the child and do feel that u should contact ur local social services department. They then hav to investigate and this in turn while helping the child may also alleviate ur situation. Good luck and loads of hugs. Xx

I agree with all of the advice given, however you need to know all of your options especially as this could be a very long term problem. If he is a council tenant then he has violated his tenancy agreement and you can contact the local authorities housing department who can evict him. If he is a private landlord tenant then you can complain to the estate agent/landlord who will be unlikely to renew his tenancy.

Personally I would contact PACT, the police and the housing department/landlord
