Since then we, too have racked 5 gallons of wine and OH is currently scrubbing thistle roots to make some more wine (apparently it tastes like whisky so yours truly won't be drinking any). I've just opened a couple of tins of pineapple to make some cheats wine - never tried it before so I'll give you my verdict in about 3 months time.
The oxtail has been in the slow cooker since this morning so I'm just about to go and do some mash and cabbage.
I think we must do our Sundays back to front because we watched a film over breakfast - a Chinese comedy called "Sixty million dollar man" (I love Stephen Chow films

It's been a bit rainy here today so we've not been out much but taken things nice and steady.
Tomorrow, however, we've got to be up at the crack of dawn to make the house habitable for guests - I wouldn't mind but they invited themselves
