Woolly cardy
I made a pattern for a woolly cardy! (I based it on another pattern, I'm not clever ). I just wanted to share it because I wrote it up nicely and everything and it's free to download, also it didn't cost a lot to knit, not that any of you are skinflints but I certainly am
This is it (I'm sorry about the blog link, I can never get my photos small enough for this forum). There is a link in the post to the pattern on Ravelry but if anyone wanted me to email it to them just let me know.
(Before you all say to me, don't you get cold with short sleeves, I want you to know that no I don't because I wear a long-sleeved tshirt under it and not only do I look very stylish, but I don't have to roll my sleeves up when I do my various ishy things ).

I think it is really lovely, and I'm sure one could adapt the pattern for long sleeves. pbf.

love the cardy, very clever of you. i have to follow the pattern and even then it sometimes goes wrong. don't suppose you have pattern for anything similar for size 6 needles?

Re: Woolly cardy
Thank you everyone!
Fuschia - are size 6 needles 4mm or 5mm? I haven't got a pattern, no I'm sorry, but this kind of thing would be easy to adapt - it's basically just a top-down raglan with the button band off centre. There are top-down raglan pattern generators on the internet I think (tell me if you want me to search) but also you could just do this pattern, cast on slightly fewer stitches at the neckline (keeping the proportions), and knit for longer before you divide for the body, if that makes sense.
