Some of my plants, in fact, a lot of my plants - are being eaten alive by various pests.  ive only got a few days left in this house so my plants are supposed to be coming with me. This house just has a tiny yard so ive got pots and pots of plants all ready for the new place, which has a garden. But my lemon balms are covered in caterpillars that have ruined the plants. And the pumpkins are covered in these tiny yukky black things. I've been plucking and squishing them off but they're relentless. I've been squirting them with soapy water, but is there anything else I can do!? I think there's only the lavendar and the black elder that haven't been touched.

Have you tried crushed garlic in the soapy water? that often helps. I am sure someone else will come along soon with great ideas. Hope the move goes ok and you get some plants worth taking with you!
