lol - I thought that the change in layout was due to my laptop dying and being reinvented with google chrome instead of the previous firefox!!!! Glad it has changed for everyone else too.

Every time I return to my parents home, the house I grew up in, there is something new. Yet it still feels like home, I feel the same about this forum.

Well said Andy.... but I bet there is still less :spam1: there

Like the other Admin elves, I have had this forum look for a while now, it didn't take much getting used to and it feels nice and comfy now.

I'm sort of getting used to it now.
One think I don't like is the small font used to display the poster's name below their avatar.
One thing I do like is when you write a post, the preview is the same size as the actual post. Before it wasn't and I frequently had to edit afterwards to get the desired layout.
All in all I think it will grow on me.

Neither do I, especially if it is squashed between two avatars. It's OK if nobody changes their avatar because I recognise a lot of people that way like Red's sheep and Annpan's mug and GA's polytunnel!

Just one gripe: since the 'new style' started I have to sign in every time, despit clicking the 'sign me in automatically' button. Why, please?

This happens on both my pc & lap top, (regardless which I used last), and doesn't happen on any of the other forums (forar?) that I visit.

That happened to me initially. I had to delete the cookie from the site and then the next sign-on became permanent.

I didn't have that problem - if Keith's advice doesn't work MW let us know or maybe send a PM to John Headstrong as he will hopefully have some solution for you.
