A Lovely Day

I have had such a lovely day that I thought I would share it with you. I have had a rare day off work so.... at 8.00 am I was in the garden 'pottering' with the vegetables, the sun was shining and it was lovely and warm. Then I spent an hour shopping in the cheap shop buying bits and pieces for the garden. I had coffee with a friend and caught up on the gossip! This afternoon I took the dog for a long walk round the sea wall, chatting to various other dog walkers as I went. And now I have put my feet up to browse the forum with a cup of tea and a slice of fruit cake (homemade of course!). Now I feel wonderfully chilled and recharged after a hectic couple of weeks and I still have three more days to go! Heaven

Thank you for your lovely comments. Hubby has just come home and said he will take me out to dinner tonight. How much better can the day get!!!!
