productive day :-)

Post: # 189316Post crowsashes »

well i have all but one load of washing done  and it smells all lovely having been blowing in the wind all day,

my broad beans have started to grow!

ive taken out a rather large shrub that was taking over my washing line AND has now left me with a space big enough to add 2m square compost bins and extra 2 meters of extra washing line

i have arranged for someone to come cut the grass ( it needs industrial work !)

i have cleaned up a massive pile of bricks and started work on building a small raised bed to grow my courgettes in.

ive washed all my pots and gone round to my mothers to pick up the stash of loo roll tubes she so i can plant this months seeds in.

sown all my herbs for the kitchen window sill .

i washed the windows, changed the sheets

but the little one decided my new all surface cleaner ( a new eco one that smells like grapefruit ) would be better off in a jug with a few fresh eggs chucked in for good measure :angryfire:

just thought id share the random days activities!

This really was productive. I'm amazed you've done all the sheets and windows as well as all that other stuff.

This is the first day this year that I put two small loads of washing out on the line and actually brought them all in DRY. I always peg out even on the dodgy days - just to get it out of the house sometimes and it does get me down for months on end bringing it in damp and then putting it on hangers and on the airer to finish off.

Daft thing is I still put the dry washing on the airer and on hangers today. Didn't really believe my fingertips that it was dry.

You've shamed me into having a go at the windows tomorrow. Maybe sheets the next day

I love days like that, I've been ill all weekend and I'm limping around today trying to kid myself that i feel better and my greatest achievement is getting some washing on the line! I've just about managed to get some cleaning done and I'll struggle to get the recycling done!!! it's good to do it though.
