On the other hand, Milims, if you chase down her version of Ruby Tuesday you'll see why she was so popular.

I didn't fancy her either.

Honest.

I can't listen properly as it keeps buffering but I know that song Brand New Key. I remember it very well but didn't someone else do that a bit later, or was it only her who sang it? I don't remember her name at all or her face. :dontknow:

Ah - The Wurzels. I'm a Dorset gal and whenever I hear them it always brings back happy memories. :flower: Really made me smile remembering dancing to them at barn dances! Many moons ago now but just seems like yesterday.

Hehe, me too. She was the ultimate hippie chick singer.

MMM, you should listen to her "Stoneground Words" album. IMO, that was her best. There was some great poetry on that one.

The world is now trying to work out why there have been so many Melanie hits in the last couple of days.

(But I'd avoid Babe Rainbow - I cannot find anything decent on the net).

PS ... although it does occur to me that "I Don't Eat Animals" may be perfect for a lot of Ishers.

Sorry but I don't remember her either.
I do remember being really into Bowie when all my friends were swooning over the Osmonds and that Partridge Family guy.......forgotten his name  .

I'm a going to bed late - getting up late person but I'd so like to change that around as I miss so much of the day. Past medical stuff messed me about so sleep was a case of get it while you can, no matter what time of the day it might be...........and I just got into a weird sleep pattern -well, no pattern!

Well I work full time night duty (I'm a nurse in real life) so my body clock is now adjusted accordingly. On my nights off I'm usually awake till about 2am, on the 'puter. The downside is that I don't wake till around 10.30 :happy8:

I'm perfectly in tune with my body closk and now really hate it when I have to conform to 'normal' hours.

Okay - special offer only open to AMers. I spent the day clearing the bit beside the garage which gets zero sun, and have realised that I can do a T***o-style BOGOF offer ...

Here it is, then - would anyone like two 1lb bags of nettle and ivy root cuttings? Normally, I sell them for 50p per bag, but just for tonight you can have two for the price of one. This offer is unrepeatable, as I'm sure that supplies will definitely not last.

Any takers?

Anywhere?

OK - Maybe I'll repeat the offer tomorrow.
