Hi does anyone play farmville on facebook, I need to fins some more ish-type neighbours
Actually I started p;aying just because my wife went in and set it up so she could improve her farm by increasing her neighbours
Our remote ancestors said to their mother Earth, "We are yours."
Modern humanity has said to Nature, "You are mine."
The Green Man has returned as the living face of the whole earth so that through his mouth we may say to the universe, "We are one."
Please explain what this 'farmville' is all about, people keep sending me things, like greenhouses (virtual ones I assume unfortunately), on this thing called farmville, but I don't have a clue what it is all about - so I just ignore it and carry on in my own little world.
Ah thanks Susiegee, I understand because I have a virtual farm, it's a 1/4 acre allotment, this is my own world to get away from the real world and tend plants, etc.
No I don't think I need to play imaginary farmers, anymore than I'd want to play cowboys and Indians at my age - although doctors and nurses might add some spice to life.
It seems to be really big on Facebook. Even my SIL, who doesn't get her nails dirty in this world, plays happily. It's one of the second life genre games.
Not my idea of fun I'm afraid.

I should point out that my wife is actually playing it for me as I usually don't get in from outside till around 8.30 and then its usually a cuppa and pick up a gardening or self-sufficientish type book.
but since I'm often stuck awake at early morning times with the youngest I figure i could have a we play myself to pass the time. (thayt is after Ihave changed the nappy heated the milk and remade his bed)

Morning All, I haven't actually seen or played this game, but surely anything that might spark an interest in our youngsters to have a go at really growing their own stuff is surely a good thing. And at the very least some of them may learn that milk comes from a cow and not made in a bottle!!!!!!!
