I don't think Ester has been on the forum for a while and I've never actually heard of the other member. Presumably you've googled and had a look at other sites about Shetland? I'm in the middle of googling northern Spain as I know nothing about the place but we're going down there in April for a holiday!

Oh yes, you're talking to the Google Queen and grand investigator.........once I get a bee in my bonnet and have decided we're off somewhere I find out everything I can (trying to distract me from my gum pain). Usually ends up with an info overload! We're going there at the end of June, start of July and have really enjoyed Simon King's prog - don't you just envy a family paid to do what they love - grrrrr.

Oh we are so alike, I've been sitting here for the last 2 hours searching for the best bird watching sites in Cantabria and Catalonia and then finding them on the map and satellite view (and see, I even know the names of some of the regions of Spain now!).

Re: Shetland?
Cheers Oldfella, I did look up your village on the map and you are in my most favourite part of France so I was thinking about contacting you to say if you are around towards the end of April put the kettle on.
Going to be coming back that way after Spain and then we want to see Carcassone; haven't been round your bit of France since a hol there in about 96 but I loved it there. You are really lucky! (about living there, not about me descending on you
)
