heads up folks in the UK - the pundits are predicting more severe cold weather with snow for the next 10 days or so starting Monday - lets hope they have the grit /salt situation sorted ?? - and if you have kids prepare for school closures ( never appened in my day )

so we all doomed - again - wot snow ,ice and cold in february ?? - no s*** Sherlock

but take hart peeps , it ain't gonna be as bad as the last lot according to one of the weather people on the BBC this morning - but did not a certain Mr fish mutter something about - hurricanes and it ain't gonna happen some years ago ??

Do as I do......... Get up and if it's cold outside put a coat on if it's warm outside wear a t shirt. Maybe i live a more simplistic life these days but I don't worry about t'weather now because we are all DOOMMMMMMEDDDDDD !!

Mind you you could always behave like my wife and put the heating on then open the doors and windows because it's too hot in here.... Having said that and to give her due praise 19Deg C is now comfortable for her when last winter it was 22 Deg C was too cold.... 17 Deg C here we come...lol.

I have a sledge in the shed, that will do for 4 year old girlie transport.
I have food in the cupboards, UHT milk in the larder, rows of lamb's lettuce i can dig out from under the snow if needed and enough of the trappings of bread to make about 6 1lb loaves.
anything else is a bonus.
